Sashi’s Fund Gives Pepper Hope for Healing

Sweet Pepper broke her leg while playing with her siblings. Before the accident, she was in training to become an emotional support pet for her Dad, a military veteran who found comfort in her presence. “She’s helping me get out of my shell,” he said, his love for her clear.

When presented with the cost of surgery, Pepper’s dad was heartbroken to realize he couldn’t afford the full amount, leaving him in a difficult situation. Thankfully, our team was able to provide assistance through Sashi’s Fund, a program that offers financial relief for essential veterinary care.

Pepper recently came in to have her sutures removed, and while her recovery journey will be lengthy, we are confident she will return to her playful self. We’re deeply grateful to Pepper’s family for their dedication to her care during this challenging time.
