Anicira Culver City Celebrates a Successful First Week

On Monday, October 26th, our new Culver City hospital officially opened its doors to pets and families across the Los Angeles area.

Located at 11924 West Washington Boulevard, the hospital offers surgical and dentistry services with the same high standards of medicine, compassion, service, and affordability that have defined Anicira’s model of care since 2005.

Our team performed a wide range of procedures in the first week. Services included dental cleanings and treatments through Comprehensive Oral Health Assessments and Treatments (COHATS), spaying a pup from Roadogs Rescue who needed extra care under anesthesia, and performing bladder surgery (cystotomy), toe and tail amputations, and an eye removal (enucleation). Our team also provided emergency surgery for a pet with pyometra, a life-threatening uterine infection.

These cases reflect exactly why we came to Los Angeles. Before we opened in Culver City, many Los Angeles-area families, including Roadogs Rescue, traveled to our San Diego hospital for care. Now, it’s available closer to home.

Dr. Jasmine Alam, who practiced full-time at our San Diego hospital before relocating to Los Angeles, is helping lead the launch and growth of our Culver City location. Her surgical experience and deep understanding of Anicira’s mission are invaluable as our team begins serving the LA community.

We’d like to thank every pet parent who trusted us with their furry family members in our very first week. We’re honored to be part of the Culver City community, and we look forward to helping many more pets stay healthy, happy, and at home with the people who love them.
