Anicira is a nonprofit veterinary hospital dedicated to making veterinary care accessible and affordable for all families.

Every dollar we earn beyond covering our costs goes straight back into helping pets and their families. We reinvest back into programs that help pets in need—including free vaccine clinics, subsidized surgery, and financial assistance for urgent medical care.

Financial Assistance Programs

Pit Fix

Pit Bull Terriers and Pit Bull mixes residing in Harrisonburg, Rockingham County, Manassas, Manassas Park and Prince William County are eligible to receive a $40 spay/neuter surgery through the Pit Fix program. Click here to learn more.

Aidan’s Friend Fund & Feline Financial Assistance Fund

Aidan’s Friend Fund and Feline Fund help pets in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County receive veterinary care. Pet families must qualify for Medicaid or other government assistance to receive funds. Click here to learn more.

Pet Food Pantry

Traveler’s Journey

At just five months old, Traveler was found alone and gravely injured on the side of a highway, fighting for his life. With the help of compassionate rescuers and excellent veterinary care, he made a full recovery and is now thriving in his loving forever home.

Anicira Helps 672 Pets at Healthy Pets Event

Anicira welcomed hundreds of pet families to Hillandale Park in Harrisonburg on Saturday, October 11th for our first Healthy Pets Event. A total of 672 dogs and cats received free vaccines and resources during the event.
