Anicira is a non-profit veterinary hospital dedicated to making veterinary care accessible and affordable for all families.

Every dollar we earn once our operating costs are covered goes directly toward helping pets and their families. We reinvest in programs that assist pets in need, including free vaccination clinics, subsidized surgeries, and financial assistance for urgent medical care.

Your donation helps ensure that no pet suffers simply because their family cannot afford veterinary care.

Financial Assistance Programs

Pit Fix

Pit Bull Terriers and Pit Bull mixes residing in Harrisonburg, Rockingham County, Manassas, Manassas Park, and Prince William County are eligible to receive spay or neuter surgery for $40 through the Pit Fix program. Click here for more information.

Aidan’s Friend Fund and Feline Financial Assistance Fund

The Aidan’s Friend Fund and the Feline Fund help pets in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County receive veterinary care. Pet families must qualify for Medicaid or other forms of government assistance to receive these funds. Click here for more information.

Traveler's Journey

At just five months old, Traveler was found alone and gravely injured on the side of a road, fighting for his life. With the help of compassionate rescuers and excellent veterinary care, he made a full recovery and is now thriving in his loving home.

Anicira Helps 672 Pets at Healthy Pets Event

Anicira welcomed hundreds of families with pets at Hillandale Park in Harrisonburg on Saturday, October 11, for our first Healthy Pets event. A total of 672 dogs and cats received free vaccinations and resources during the event.
