Pet Food Pantry

During the winter of 2007, a man walked through a strong snowstorm into Anicira’s clinic. The clinic was not open, but an employee was there and let him in. He had fallen on hard times and told us his pets hadn’t eaten in days. We made sure his pets were able to eat, and since then, have helped hundreds of other pets avoid hunger through our Pet Food Pantry.

The Pet Food Pantry serves pet families in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County.

The Pet Food Pantry takes place on the second Saturday of each month from 8 am to 12 pm at 910 N Liberty St, Harrisonburg, VA 22802.

On the fourth Thursday of each month, Anicira will be distributing pet food from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Hope Distributed’s location at 1869 Boyers Rd. Harrisonburg, VA 22801.

With recent economic hardship, we have provided nutritious meals to more pets than ever.
