Anicira’s Pit Fix Program provides affordable spay/neuter surgeries for Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes residing in Manassas, Manassas Park, Prince William County, Harrisonburg, and Rockingham County for just $40. This program was designed to address the overrepresentation of homeless Pit Bulls and mixes in our community and to ensure that these loving, loyal dogs have a better chance at finding and keeping forever homes.

Anicira received a $25,000 grant from the ASPCA to support the Pit Fix program. Now until funds are all funds are dispersed, Anicira will offer FREE spay/neuter surgeries to qualifying Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes. To learn more about this impactful support, click here.
Who Qualifies?
Dogs that meet the following criteria are eligible for the Pit Fix Program:
- Any dog that resembles a Pit Bull or a Pit Bull mix (no formal breed identification is required). For Pit Bull mixes, please email a photo for us to confirm.
- Dogs residing in the covered areas: Manassas, Manassas Park, Prince William County, Harrisonburg, or Rockingham County.

What’s included:
The spay/neuter surgery package includes:
- A pre-surgical health evaluation to ensure your dog is ready for surgery.
- Our expert veterinary team performs the spay or neuter procedure.
- Post-operative pain medication to keep your pet comfortable during recovery.
- Detailed at-home care instructions and ongoing support from our veterinary team.
Additional services, such as vaccinations, nail trimming, and microchipping, are available during your pet’s surgical visit.
Why It Matters
Due to overpopulation and breed-specific misconceptions, pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes are among the most at-risk populations in shelters. By making spay/neuter surgeries accessible and affordable, the Pit Fix Program helps reduce the number of homeless pets entering shelters and improves the quality of life for Pit Bulls and their families.
