Anicira is excited to announce the opening of our new veterinary hospital in Culver City. Located at 11924 West Washington Boulevard, the hospital brings Anicira’s model of high-quality, compassionate, and accessible veterinary care to a new community, helping more pets and the families who love them.
Appointments are now being scheduled for surgical and dentistry services. The new hospital will provide Los Angeles-area pet parents with access to the same high standards of medicine, compassion, service, and affordability that define Anicira’s model of care and its commitment to keeping pets happier and healthier since 2005.
“We’re thrilled to bring Anicira to Los Angeles,” said Cate Lemmond, Anicira’s CEO and founding president. “We already know there is a need for our services in the area, with clients regularly traveling from Los Angeles to our San Diego hospital for their pets’ surgical and dentistry needs. We’re excited to make that care more accessible to more pets and families who live here.”
Los Angeles is one of the largest companion-animal veterinary markets in the country, and the need for accessible veterinary care is significant. By helping families access the care their pets need, Anicira hopes to help more pets remain healthy, in their homes and out of shelters.
The Culver City launch also brings an experienced Anicira leader to the new hospital. Dr. Jasmine Alam (pictured here) is helping lead the launch and growth of the new location. Dr. Alam practiced full-time at Anicira’s San Diego hospital before relocating to Los Angeles for her spouse’s career. She has remained connected to Anicira through part-time work and brings extensive surgical experience, a deep understanding of Anicira’s culture, and a strong commitment to its mission.
