Thanks to the Alley Cat Allies grant, Padawan was able to receive a lifesaving leg amputation. Padawan was involved in an incident that left him without the bottom part of his leg. He was in constant pain when his caregivers brought him in. “He was not going to make it. His quality of life was nonexistent.”

Because his caregiver tends to many other animals, it would have been impossible for them to afford Padawan’s surgery without the help of Alley Cat Allies. A couple of days after the surgery, Padawan was back to chasing rabbits and running full speed like he was before the surgery.
