Donations at Work: Felix receives a Dental Procedure

Felix the cat with a blue bonnet on his head after surgery

Felix was having trouble eating and he was experiencing swelling around his mouth. Upon examination, our doctor found that Felix had a severe build-up of tartar on his teeth and needed a dental procedure.

Dental health is an important part of a pet’s overall health and well-being. Left untreated, this tartar build-up could have led to more severe dental disease and greater pain.  Felix was able to receive a comprehensive dental procedure because of a grant from an anonymous fund from The Community Foundation of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County.

Felix’s family is very grateful for the help they received.  He is back to enjoying all the things he loves to do, minus hat wearing of course!
