Shakespeare was rescued after being found abandoned by his family. Despite having a microchip, his former family did not reclaim him when they were contacted. Luckily for Shakespeare, his rescuer adopted him and welcomed him to her loving home.
Shakespeare has a history of Urinary Tract Infections and was experiencing urinary problems again. The doctors at Anicira were able to perform an evaluation and provide him with medication to help alleviate his symptoms.
Shakespeare’s mom cares for 10 cats and lives on disability, so it was financially difficult to cover the cost of his medication. Thanks to a grant from The Banfield Foundation, Shakespeare and his mom were able to receive care and financial assistance. Shakespeare’s mom is grateful to Banfield and Anicira for helping her beloved Shakespeare.
