Jefe Saved by Sashi’s Fund

Jefe’s mom noticed he wasn’t eating and had started vomiting. Worried, she rushed him to the ER, where his veterinary team discovered he had ingested a foreign object and needed emergency surgery. Faced with an overwhelming cost she couldn’t afford, the hospital referred her to Anicira for help.

When Jefe arrived, he was understandably scared but still the sweetest pup. Dr. Alvarez performed the surgery and successfully removed a corn cob from his stomach. Thanks to Sashi’s Fund, which provides financial assistance for essential veterinary care, Anicira covered the full cost of Jefe’s surgery—giving him a second chance at a happy, healthy life.

His mom was beyond grateful, sharing, “I am truly amazed by how far they went to help Jefe and my family.”
