For the Love of Mochi: A Mom’s Mission to Save Her Cat

Two pictures of Mochi, a gray cat with green eyes

As a young cat, Mochi was diagnosed with feline lower urinary tract disease, and from that moment on, he has been plagued by ongoing urinary issues. His Mom noticed he was struggling once again and rushed him to the vet, only to hear the scary news that he needed cystotomy surgery (bladder stone removal). If the stones weren’t removed, Mochi could face a day where he couldn’t urinate at all, a life-threatening emergency for male cats.

Mochi’s Mom didn’t hesitate. She spent two hours making the drive to Anicira. The surgery that followed saved Mochi’s life.

“I’m thankful for all the staff who helped me with questions! Thank you again to the Anicira Team,” Mochi’s Mom wrote.
