Building Community Through Stories and Stuffed Animal Checkups

We love partnering with organizations that share our passion for learning, kindness, and connection, and the Tales and Tails Story Time event with Massanutten Regional Library was a perfect example of that.

Families joined us on Saturday, July 5th, for a fun morning at the library to hear animal-themed stories read by Dr. Micah Thompson, one of Anicira’s veterinarians, and then jumped into creative crafts and hands-on play. Kids brought their favorite plush companions—from teddy bears to sloths—and received a loving, caring check-up from Dr. Thompson.

We’re proud to be part of a community that values both education and compassion. Events like these remind us that even the smallest moments—like a story or a teddy bear checkup—can spark big dreams. Maybe even a few future veterinarians!
