Laney’s Last Hope

Pets bring us incredible joy and create memories that stay with us forever. They love us unconditionally and quickly become beloved members of the family. But when they become sick, the cost of care can sometimes feel overwhelming.

When Laney started feeling unwell, her family did everything they could to help her. They brought her to several emergency hospitals searching for answers. After multiple tests and ups and downs in her recovery, the veterinarian suspected a foreign body lodged somewhere in her belly that would require surgery to remove.

Her family was heartbroken. They loved Laney deeply and had already spent several thousand dollars trying to find out what was wrong.

Her Dad says, “When they quoted us $6,000–$8,000 for surgery, we were honestly devastated. We had already used much of our savings trying to diagnose the issue. Unfortunately, we simply did not have enough left to cover the surgery at that price and were faced with the heartbreaking possibility of having to euthanize our dog.”
