How can you get fleas off your puppy?

You can start with giving your pet a bath using dawn dish soap. You also want to make sure that you wash all bedding and blankets in your home and that you vacuum daily. You can also use an in home flea spray for your carpets to help rid any flea infestation in the home. If you do use an in-home flea spray, be sure all surfaces are dry before your pet is allowed back in the treated area. Then, you want to make sure to consistently treat your pet for fleas using an oral or topical flea product. If you are using a topical flea product you will want to wait 3 days after giving the bath to apply the product. Please consistently treat your pet each month- it will take 3 months of treatment to completely stop the flea life cycle.
