Hope for Daisy

Daisy, a small orange and white dog with perky ears and a tongue hanging out

In early April, sweet little Daisy was rushed to the emergency room after she began limping unexpectedly. What her family initially thought was a minor injury turned out to be much more serious. A thorough exam revealed a torn cranial cruciate ligament (CCL), and an ultrasound uncovered a dangerous uterine infection that required urgent treatment.

It was a heartbreaking moment for Daisy’s family, who were devastated by the diagnosis but also faced the overwhelming financial burden of surgery at the emergency hospital. Determined to do what was best for Daisy, they searched for another path, and found hope with Anicira, where they were able to get Daisy the care she desperately needed at a more affordable cost.

Thanks to their love and perseverance, Daisy has now fully recovered. “We have spoiled her rotten and she’s definitely happy again,” her mom shares.
We’re so happy to see Daisy feeling better, and incredibly proud of her parents for never giving up on her.
