All pets must be spayed/neutered to receive surgical services. If your pet is not spayed/neutered and in need of surgery, we would be happy to schedule the spay/neuter procedure as well.
We do not offer to declaw surgery for cats, ear cropping, tail docking, or any other cosmetic surgery.
If you do not see the surgical procedure your pet needs listed below, please contact us to inquire.
This fee may apply when a procedure requires significantly more time than expected due to unforeseen complications or the complexity of the patient’s condition. It helps cover the additional surgical and anesthesia time needed to ensure your pet receives the highest standard of care.
Preanesthetic blood work is always recommended to ensure that your pet is a good candidate for anesthesia and surgery, especially for patients over the age of five years. Preoperative blood work may be required for particular surgical procedures.
We can accept blood work completed within the past month.
Preanesthetic blood work includes a complete blood count (CBC) and a chemistry profile. Pre-anesthetic blood work can be completed the morning of surgery or during a preoperative visit prior to the surgery date.
Anicira was founded as a spay/neuter clinic with the goal of reducing the number of homeless pets entering shelters. Today, ensuring that every animal in our care is spayed or neutered remains a core part of our mission.
If your pet has not yet been spayed or neutered at the time of their procedure, we require that the surgery be completed during their visit or scheduled for a future date. In these cases, prepayment for the spay/neuter service is required at the time of the initial appointment.
