Volunteers play a vital role in helping Anicira fulfill our mission of making high-quality veterinary care accessible to all pets. Whether you’re passionate about supporting families, helping behind the scenes, or lending a hand at community events, your time and compassion make a meaningful difference.
Volunteer Opportunities
Our Pet Food Pantry helps ensure that pets in our community have consistent access to nutritious food with the goal to keep them healthy and with the families who love them. Volunteers are essential to keeping this program running smoothly.
Volunteer roles may include:
- Checking in clients and helping manage the flow of visitors
- Assisting with food distribution and loading pet food into vehicles
- Helping unload and organize pet food deliveries
Schedule:
- Food distribution takes place on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month
- Food deliveries typically occur during the week prior to distribution days

Anicira hosts a variety of events throughout the year to support access to veterinary care and engage our community. Volunteers help make these events successful by assisting with setup, greeting attendees, providing information, and supporting event activities.
