Sarah Sari brings nearly 20 years of experience in veterinary medicine and animal welfare to her role as Special Projects Manager. She earned her B.S. in Sociology from the College of Charleston and began her career in animal sheltering before working in a primary care veterinary hospital with a feral cat spay/neuter program. Sarah has been part of the Anicira team for 13 years, serving in a variety of leadership roles including Assistant to the Executive Director, Operations Manager, Hospital Administrator, Chief Operating Officer, and board member.
Sarah is passionate about giving animals a voice while creating more options for the people who love them. She is dedicated to developing accessible veterinary services and nonprofit programs that respond to the evolving needs of pets and their communities. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys adventures and relaxing with her husband, daughter, and their rescue Chinese Crested mix, Squid.
