Missy graduated from Northern Virginia Community College with an Associate’s Degree and has four years of experience in veterinary medicine. She began her career as a veterinary nurse and developed a passion for supporting pet families. At Anicira Veterinary Center, Missy fully embraces providing compassionate support to pet parents.
Deeply committed to Anicira’s mission of reducing pet homelessness and helping families keep their beloved pets, Missy finds great fulfillment in seeing sick pets recover and leave happily with their families. Known for her compassion and dedication, she strives to create a welcoming, reassuring environment where clients feel heard, valued, and supported throughout their pet’s care.
Outside of work, Missy enjoys painting, crocheting, reading, and caring for her plants. She also loves nature and frequently visits the beach—her favorite spot is Avon, North Carolina, in the Outer Banks. Missy shares her life with two special cats: Loki, a tuxedo domestic medium hair she rescued from euthanasia, and Morgana, a sweet Himalayan mix she adopted as an adult.
