Missy is a Licensed Veterinary Technician with eight years of experience in veterinary medicine. After earning a degree in Mathematics from Louisiana State University and teaching high school math, she followed her passion for animal care by graduating from Blue Ridge Community College’s Veterinary Technology program. Missy enjoys helping pets and their families through every stage of care, from routine wellness visits to critical medical treatment.
Missy has a special interest in critical care nursing, cytology, and advancing her veterinary knowledge. She is committed to advocating for her patients and ensuring every pet feels safe and cared for during their visit. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their dogs, cats, and chickens, as well as lifting weights and reading historical fiction.
