Kayla earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Radford University in 2022 and is currently pursuing her Veterinary Technician license, with plans to graduate in May 2026. With five years of experience in general practice, surgery, and dental care, Kayla is driven by the important role veterinary nurses play in extending and improving pets’ lives.
Kayla is passionate about providing care that enhances pets’ quality of life, whether through spaying and neutering or assisting with critical procedures. She appreciates Anicira’s mission to offer compassionate, affordable veterinary care and values the organization’s support for employee work-life balance. She aspires to further specialize as a surgical veterinary technician.
Kayla wants every pet parent to feel confident that their furry family members are safe, secure, and treated like her own children while in her care. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends, playing soccer, and watching her favorite shows on Netflix. Kayla shares her home with Rosemary, a Norwich Terrier she rescued from a puppy mill, and Mitzy, a domestic shorthair cat she adopted from a shelter—both beloved second chances at life.
