John became a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in 2008 and earned his Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) credential in 2018. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, an MBA in Organizational Leadership, and is also certified as a Professional in Human Resources – California (PHRca).
Surrounded by animals from an early age, John developed a deep passion for veterinary medicine that led him to start working in the field at just 14 years old. He began his career at a 24-hour Emergency & Specialty clinic, a fast-paced environment that exposed him to a wide variety of patients and cases, giving him invaluable hands-on experience.
Throughout his career, John has gained a broad and well-rounded perspective by working in nearly every role within veterinary hospitals—from client services and nursing to patient care and practice management. His experience spans various clinic settings, including emergency, specialty, and general practice, equipping him with the skills to support teams and improve operations at every level.
