Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and an associate degree in Wildlife Biology. She is a certified dog trainer through Animal Behavior College and is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician program. With seven years at Anicira and three years working at Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, Jennifer brings extensive experience and a deep love for animals to her role.
Jennifer values Anicira’s supportive and caring environment, where veterinarians and technicians collaborate to provide top-quality care and learning opportunities. She is proud of starting and successfully running her own dog training business and is passionate about helping animals heal and live happy lives. Her goal is to become a veterinary technician to deepen her medical knowledge and better serve the pets in her care.
Outside of work, Jennifer spends much of her time managing a small homestead farm filled with rescued dogs and cats, a cockatiel, a bearded dragon, fish, dairy goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits, and two guard geese named Caroline and Charles. She loves hiking and being outdoors, finding joy in nature and the animals she cares for both at home and at work.
