Dr. Parrish earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota and went on to complete a shelter medicine internship at the San Diego Humane Society. His passion for expanding access to veterinary care grew from work in community medicine during veterinary school, and he brings that commitment to his role at Anicira.
Dr. Parrish enjoys the variety of challenges that each day brings—whether solving medical cases, improving workflows, or supporting teammates—he values how collaboration helps both animals and the people who love them. Known for his calm and kind demeanor, Dr. Parrish prioritizes candor and transparency in every interaction, honoring the trust pet owners place in him.
Outside of work, Dr. Parrish stays active playing soccer, basketball, and volleyball, hiking, cooking new recipes, and reading. He shares his home with Crunch, an orange cat he adopted after he was found stray in Minnesota.
