Dr. Kivlighan graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Biology and fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian by earning her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine.
At Anicira, Dr. Kivlighan thrives on the variety in her workday, enjoying the mix of routine preventive care, sick visits, and emergency cases in the medical department. She finds joy in witnessing the love between pet parents and their animals and engaging with them meaningfully.
In her free time, Dr. Kivlighan loves spending time by the water with her three Shih Tzus.
