Kate brings over five years of nonprofit accounting experience and a BSAAC in Accounting to her role at Anicira, with a career focus on animal welfare. Before joining the team, she volunteered for nearly a decade at a wildlife rehabilitation center and worked with an international sea turtle conservation group.
Her deep respect for the connection between humans and animals drives her commitment to Anicira’s mission, ensuring pets, their families, and staff are supported with equal care. Behind the scenes, Kate uses her skills in technology, communication, and organization to help provide pets with the resources they need to thrive.
Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, spending time with loved ones, and snuggling with her 19lb Maine Coon named Dove.
