Anicira was a godsend for us. My Kerry blue terrier (almost 14) needed her spleen removed. We drove from NYC to have this done as we received quotes of $7-8k+ here which was not possible for us. At Anicira her splenectomy was done for $2500 which included same day bloodwork before surgery and biopsy of her spleen. After the surgery we found out her spleen had already ruptured and she had some blood loss internally. Despite this, thankfully, her surgery was successful and she is recovering great so far. The surgeon and the staff was phenomenal. We are truly grateful to Dr. Sonya and the whole team. The only thing I will advise is that they are not open overnight and not able to do post-op monitoring for major surgeries. There are some 24hr emergency vets in the area that can do overnight monitoring.

For my cat's stage 4 stomatitis and full mouth extraction: Procedure time was consistent, costs were as described, prompt service and the vet was thorough over the phone. Affordability and care were excellent. I saved nearly $4k+ compared to a quote from another dentistry clinic for the same procedure. The quoted price did not include the additional vaccines I was able to add on to the procedure.

I’ve taken all my dogs here to have surgeries, and recently made it their primary vet. This is the best veterinary office I’ve ever been to. Responsive, educational, and at a price where you don’t have to leave anything off due to cost. I also think the volume of pets getting surgeries here makes them extremely skilled at what they do. I’ve had a lot of issues in the past, but the surgeries go so smoothly here. I wish I would have found it sooner.

Wonderful service at a price a person can afford! My dog Walnut needed teeth cleaning and extractions. Anicira did the procedure for literally thousands less than my vet quoted. Not only efficient, but caring and kind. Highly recommend!

Chose Anicira based on a recommendation from Lucky Dog Animal Rescue for my kitten, Gustavo. It’s been almost a week since his neuter, and he’s recovered beautifully. The cost was very affordable compared to clinics near Reston, making it well worth the drive (and the afternoon Uber, since the morning drive was a bit stressful for me!). The staff was incredibly friendly and caring, and my baby was back to his goofy self right away. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Anicira Veterinary Center. Another veterinary center told me it would cost $10,000 to treat my fur baby's prolapsed urethra. I was devastated and terrified that I was going to lose him. In desperation, I found Anicira and called--completely in tears. From that very first phone call, the staff was incredibly compassionate, patient, and understanding. They listened, reassured me, and immediately eased my fears. Most importantly, they were able to perform the surgery for significantly less, making it possible to save my baby. When I dropped him off, they carefully walked me through the entire procedure and explained exactly what to expect during recovery. After the surgery was successful, they once again took the time to go over every detail of his aftercare so I felt confident bringing him home. At every single step, the staff was kind, professional, and genuinely caring. Without Anicira, I truly believe I would have lost my baby. I am forever grateful for their compassion, expertise, and commitment to helping pets and their families when they need it most.

Outstanding service! We brought our Leo for a preventive Cystotomy procedure and I must say. This is our second visit and my each time I knew my baby was in great hands.
