Worth the drive from LA to San Diego I was able to get my cat eyelid surgery(entropion) which would of cost me 3,500 dollars if gone somewhere else. It was only 600 dollars meds and cone included! Here is my cat Blanco before and after surgery!

Splenectomy Surgical Care includes:
- Pre-anesthetic physical examination
- Individualized general anesthetic plan based on age, body type, breed
- Patient warming system
- Anesthetic vital sign monitoring by licensed professional care team members to include blood pressure, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, temperature, EKG medication to ensure that our patients remain comfortable both during and after the procedure
- Additional medications, antibiotics, and E-Collar if necessary
- Follow-op exam if necessary

Anicira offers a comprehensive surgical package for splenectomy surgery. The cost of the procedure is $2261 for dogs weighing 30 lbs or less and $2761 for pets over 30 lbs.
Preanesthetic blood work is $160 and may be necessary before surgery.
A splenectomy is the surgical removal of the spleen. If there is a tumor on the spleen and left untreated the tumor could rupture.
Once removed the mass would be sent out for histopathology ($249) to determine if it is cancerous or benign.
Spleens could also be damaged from trauma or infections.
