Healthy Pets Event

Healthy Pets is a free community event designed to make pet care more accessible and to help families keep their pets happy and healthy. This first-time event is a welcoming space where pet families can connect with resources, receive essential veterinary care, and learn about ongoing support available through Anicira.

Our mission is simple: to support pets and the people who love them. By offering free care, education, and supplies, Healthy Pets helps break down barriers and opens the door to a healthier future for family pets in our community.

Event Overview

Address: Hillandale Park (801 Hillandale Ave, Harrisonburg, VA 22801)
Date: Saturday, October 11, 2025
Time: 10am – 1pm
Cost: Free

Who Can Attend

Open to all families—no residency restrictions
No limit on the number of pets you can bring
Family pets only (no community cats – check out RHSPCA’s resources for community cats)
Cats must be friendly, and in a carrier
Special accommodations will be available for dogs who are anxious, reactive, or uncomfortable around others
