Join us for the Celebration of Pets Festival on Saturday, September 14th, from 11am to 4pm at a charming rustic farm in McGaheysville, just 15 minutes east of Harrisonburg. This event raises money for sick and injured pets and is a day to celebrate the bond between people and pets.
Bring your dogs and family to enjoy exciting games, activities, music, and delicious food and beverages. No pet? No problem! Everyone is welcome, whether you have a pet or not.

Hours: 11am - 4pm
Event parking is located in a clearly marked field approximately a quarter mile from the venue. To reach the parking area, turn onto Bloomer Springs Road and continue for one mile until you see signs labeled “Celebration Parking.”
Shuttle transportation is provided from the parking area to the venue. Additionally, there is a walking path available for those who prefer to walk.
Important Note:
Shenandoah Valley Farm is rustic, with unpaved surfaces such as wood chips, grass, or gravel trails. Please be aware of potential tripping hazards such as exposed roots. Due to these conditions, the event may not be suitable for individuals with limited mobility or for strollers.
The admission fee for the event is $10 for adults aged 13 and up. Your contribution helps raise funds for sick and injured pets.
Yes, well-behaved and friendly dogs are welcome on a leash. Retractable leashes are discouraged.
Everyone is welcome at the Celebration of Pets Festival! Plenty of attendees do not own pets or have pets that prefer to stay home.
Yes, the festival has many fun activities for children. All children must be under direct adult supervision at all times at the festival.
Rain or shine, we’ll have a great time! Check the weather before you arrive, and dress accordingly.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Please bring cash or a credit card.

While we do love all pets, we ask that you please leave your cats, ferrets, bunnies, and any other pet that may be fearful of dogs at home.
