Aiden’s Friend Fund & Feline Financial Assistance Fund

Aidan, a miniature poodle mix, was rescued from life on a chain in 2005 and began a happy life with his new mom. Shortly after, his mom started Aidan’s Fund to help Harrisonburg and Rockingham County low-income families afford care. Residents of the City of Harrisonburg or Rockingham County can qualify for a $40 spay/neuter fee thanks to this fund. Since its inception, over 2,000 dogs have been assisted through this fund.

Feline Fund helps Harrisonburg and Rockingham County families access veterinary care for their cats.

Aiden’s Fund and Feline Fund provide pet parents financial assistance with veterinary care. To qualify, clients are required to:

  • Live in Harrisonburg or Rockingham County
  • Have an income is at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level
  • Provide proof of residency and income/government assistance
